MIX MASTERS COCKTAIL COMPETITION
Join us at Harvest Tide Bethany for the inaugural Mix Masters Cocktail Competition, an exciting evening where some of the area's most talented bartenders compete to create the best original cocktail.
Date: Thursday, April 2, 2026
VIP Admission – $50 – Entry: 5:00 PM
Start the evening before the crowd arrives with exclusive early access to the Mix Masters experience. VIP guests enjoy:
• First access to taste all the competition cocktails
• Meet and greet with the competing bartenders
• Extra time to explore the tasting stations before general admission begins
• Early voting access for the People’s Choice round
• Front-row access to the live final competition
General Admission – $35 – Entry: 6:00 PM
General admission guests join the competition tasting experience starting at 6 PM. Your ticket includes:
• Sampling of the competing cocktails from all bartenders
• One vote in the People’s Choice round
• Access to watch the live final cocktail showdown
• An evening of great drinks, local bartending talent, and community energy
How the Competition Works
Round One – People's Choice
Ten bartenders from some of the region's top restaurants will present an original cocktail using a featured spirit.
Guests will sample 1 oz pours of each cocktail and vote for their favorite.
At the end of the tasting round, the top three cocktails with the most votes will advance.
Final Round – Mystery Cocktail Challenge
The three finalists will compete live in a timed “Chopped-style” challenge.
Each bartender will receive a mystery basket of ingredients and must create a cocktail on the spot using the designated spirit and surprise components.
A three-person judging panel will evaluate the cocktails based on:
- Taste
- Creativity
- Balance
- Presentation
- Use of required ingredients

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Grass Roots Rescue, a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and rehoming dogs across Delaware.
Representatives will be present at the event to share information about their work and how the community can help.
